Rest & Play started here, by the coast, with a handful of women willing to try something new.
I wanted to create the kind of getaway I needed myself: good food I didn’t have to prepare, conversations that could linger, something fun to create, and time with God that didn’t feel squeezed between everything else.
Since that first gathering in 2021, we’ve shared beach walks, coffee on the porch, late-night laughter, and meals that lasted long after the plates were empty. Women have come with friends and come knowing no one. Some love being part of every conversation. Others are happiest with a book and a quiet stretch of sand.
There’s room for all of that here.
I’ll take care of the plans and thoughtful little details. You get to decide what sounds good: join the fun, take a nap, linger at the table, or head down to the water.
