One of the most cherished parts of our retreat mornings has been our experience with The 30A Barista, led by owner and barista Patrick Price.
Hospitality That Sets the Tone
From the moment Patrick walks in, the atmosphere shifts in the best kind of way.
He brings a warmth that feels instantly welcoming – friendly, kind, and genuinely joyful. There’s an ease about him that invites conversation, laughter, and lingering a little longer than planned. From first greeting to final goodbye, Patrick doesn’t just serve coffee – he creates an experience that easily becomes a highlight of our retreat!
As the host and curator of this event, that matters deeply to me.
Rest & Play is built on intentional moments and Patrick understands that vision so well because that’s what The 30A Barista is built on, too. His presence supports the heart of what we’re creating: space to slow down, connect, and feel cared for.
A Café Experience, Wherever We Gather
One of the things our attendees love most is that Patrick brings everything with him.
The full setup arrives like a little café on wheels, transforming our retreat home kitchen into a cozy morning gathering place. Guests can choose from classic favorites like a cappuccino, chai, matcha, or latte, or get to dive into his signature creations like the King Solomon.
Every drink is crafted with intention using Patrick’s Irie blend of freshly roasted beans – a medium roast with notes of caramel, hazelnut, and vanilla.
It’s the kind of coffee that makes you pause mid-sip and say, “Okay…this is really good.” (Take it from me, it’s totally worth it to grab a bag (or two!) to take home with you!)
